    VAPS Teacher Taster – Community of Inquiry

    Experience what it feels like to be a participant of a Community of Inquiry.  As teachers we don't often get the chance to authentically express our beliefs (at least not in the classroom) so this is a chance to philosophise with your peers, enhance your skills to form a community and develop your critical thinking

    This year VAPS has organised a PIPS event for Year 11 VCE Philosophy Students.  It will be held again at the University of Melbourne's Science Gallery. Max # of students 10 (this is due to high demand last year).  Depending on interest and numbers we may have capacity to open it to more. Sign up

    This Philosophy in Public Spaces (PIPS) event at Melbourne Zoo on 9 September, 2026 is open for Y5-8 students from schools in Victoria. Students are able to attend for free if they attend a government school and participate through the high-ability program, for which the Department of Education has provided funding for.
